Being a carer means unconditional support and putting her own life on hold to give my sister the best life she can have.

I am 82 and she is priceless to me.

My son Toby who is 10 years old helps care for his younger sister. He’s so grown up and the most kind hearted boy there ever was.

You are always so patient and make so many sacrifices. You never show weariness or bad temper. Not many people could do what you do.

Don’t ever change who you are, you keep being the incredible person that I am extremely proud of.

Ben is the best carer I could ever ask for. He is incredible and I felt that he truly deserves a mention.

My 12 year old daughter Amèlie is my Young Carer, at an age where it’s really not easy or cool to be helping and caring for your Mum.

The sacrifices my brother has made cannot be put into words. He is a true inspiration, and I couldn’t be prouder to call him my brother.

I would like to pledge my thanks to my mum, who has been an unpaid carer for my stepdad for over 10 years.

My wife is a carer for her 92 year old Mum, sadly on the road to Dementia. She is a good soul that deserves to be put No1 more often.
