To my wonderful parents, thank you for showing me that love is not just something you say, but something you prove through your actions every single day.

Dad, I have watched you extend your care far beyond your immediate family. You have supported your children, stood by our wider family and helped family friends access education and opportunities. You have shown me that when you have the ability to help someone, you should never forget those who need a helping hand.

Mum, your love and sacrifices have also helped shape the person I am becoming. Together, you have taught me the importance of family, compassion and giving without always expecting anything in return.

As I grow older, I understand more deeply that the people who support everyone else also deserve to be supported, appreciated and celebrated. I may never be able to repay you fully for everything you have done, but I can make sure you know that none of it has gone unnoticed.

Thank you for the opportunities, the encouragement and the example you have set for me. Thank you for reminding me that family is not only about those we are related to, but also about the people we choose to lift up along the way.

My greatest hope is to carry your kindness forward and make you proud. You have given so much of yourselves to others, and today, I want to give something back through these words.
