The Regina Pledge Wall
Here are some of the wonderful unpaid carers’ pledges we’ve received.
Do you know an unpaid carer? Share who cares for a chance to appear on our pledge wall and win a prize.

Ben is the best carer I could ever ask for. He is incredible and I felt that he truly deserves a mention, even if we don't win. And I wanted to share how special he is - He works day and night, caring for me and then at his nightshift as a medical manufacturer machine operator.
Without him, I couldn't have survived the last few years. He's been there for every hospital appointment, every medical treatment, every loss, every time I needed an advocate for me, through every health success and disappointment, every sheer back breaking moment, even rescuing me in North Wales when my wheelchair broke down, nothing has been too much trouble.
He's a true gent and the hardest worker anyone could know, and I know that I will never be able to give back everything he has sustained physically for us both. He's not disabled, he's never had any carer training and he never worked with anyone disabled before, yet he's embraced every challenge with loving care and without judgement, just by listening and being present for each moment. He's unpaid, but his effort is everything. Ben is my hero.
The photo of Ben and I is one of my favourite photos, from when we went to a gaming festival together in Birmingham last year. It was a childhood dream come true.
